After the tragic loss of her parents in a devastating car accident, Abigail White is forced to leave her life in Melbourne and return to Perth to take guardianship of her younger sister, Cathy. Together, they move into their secluded ancestral home in the Western Australian wheatbelt, awaiting the arrival of Cathy's partner, Mark, who plans to join them in a few days after finalizing a real estate deal in the city.
